Payment

Do I have to pay to use ScoutLane?

Your first packet is free, and each activated referral adds another, up to five referral credits, for six free packets total. After that, packets come in prepaid packs, one credit per job, priced at $9 for 1, $21 for 3, $30 for 5, and $50 for 10, and your credits never expire. One credit unlocks a job, not each edit, so up to six AI regenerations for that job are included free, and changing font, theme, or style is always free and unlimited. Targeting a different job spends a new credit. The Interview Kit is a separate, optional add-on priced at $4.99 per job, and a post-interview Debrief is $3.99. There is no subscription.

How long can I reopen a packet I already generated?

Credits never expiring is separate from how long a generated packet stays reopenable. A free packet reopens byte-for-byte as originally shipped for 90 days from generation, and a packet you spent a credit on stays reopenable for 1 year. After that window we keep a lightweight summary, role, company, dates, and scores, and reopening it means generating it again. See Privacy for the full detail.

How do I pay for the Interview Kit?

Checkout is not live yet. ScoutLane is in an invite-only pre-launch, and payment will run through Stripe once it opens. See Pricing for the current plan.

Refunds

Can I get a refund on credits or an add-on?

Our refund policy is part of our Terms of Service, under Payments. Credits already spent on a packet are non-refundable once used, except where required by law. Unused credits are refundable on request, email privacy@scoutlane.app and we will take care of it. The same applies to the Interview Kit and Debrief add-ons.

Why was my packet blocked?

ScoutLane checks every generated packet against your resume before it ships. If a tailored skill, bullet, or number cannot be traced back to something you wrote, or if the wording or formatting fails our style and ATS checks, the packet is held back instead of sent with an unverified claim. This is the no-fabrication guardrail working as intended, not an error. Usually regenerating fixes it, since wording can differ slightly between runs. If it keeps happening, check that your resume actually states the skill or detail in question, in your own words, and try again.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Account settingswhile signed in and choose "Delete my account." You will need to type a confirmation phrase to proceed. Deleting your account signs you out right away. Within 7 days we permanently delete your stored packets, feedback, resume profile, and waitlist entry. If this was a mistake, email privacy@scoutlane.app inside that 7-day window so we can stop the deletion.
