These Terms govern your use of ScoutLane, operated by RMMM Holdings, LLC d/b/a ScoutLane ("ScoutLane," "we," "us"). By using the service you agree to them.
What ScoutLane does
ScoutLane turns your resume and a job description into an application packet and Interview Kit materials. Your application materials, resume, cover letter, fit assessment, outreach messages, and LinkedIn kit, are built only from facts you provide about yourself. We do not fabricate content, stuff keywords, use invisible text, or auto-apply on your behalf.
All AI-generated output may contain errors. Review every document, message, and brief before you use, submit, or send it. You are solely responsible for checking accuracy and fitness for your purpose. This applies with equal force to Interview Kit company intel: it is drawn from public web-search sources about a prospective employer, may be incomplete or out of date, and must be verified before you rely on it in an interview or any other decision. This same treatment, and the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification obligations tied to it, apply in the same way to any additional AI-generated or web-derived output we offer in the future, including the post-interview Debrief, not only to the features named here.
Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the resume, job descriptions, and other materials you provide, and of the outputs we generate for you. You grant us the limited rights needed to process your content and deliver the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide and for how you use the outputs.
Acceptable use
Do not use ScoutLane to submit false information, impersonate others, infringe rights, or violate law. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service, including automated scraping, overloading it, or abusing referral, credit, or promotional mechanisms.
Payments
Your first application packet is free, and you can earn additional free packets through our referral program, up to five referral credits, for six free packets total; see Pricing for current details. ScoutLane uses a prepaid credit-pack model, not a subscription: there is no recurring charge and nothing auto-renews. You buy a pack of credits ($9, $21, $30, or $50) and spend them as you go. One credit unlocks one application packet for one job, the job you select, not each edit of a job description within that application. Once a credit is spent on a job, up to six AI regenerations of that packet are included free within the same job entitlement; changing font, theme, or style is free and unlimited because it is deterministic formatting, not a new AI generation. Targeting a different job requires a new credit. Credits never expire. The Interview Kit is an optional $4.99 add-on and a post-interview Debrief is an optional $3.99 add-on, both per job. Prices are shown before purchase and charged through Stripe.
Credits already spent on a packet are non-refundable once used, except where required by law. Unused credits are refundable on request: email privacy@scoutlane.app. The same applies to the Interview Kit and Debrief add-ons: once used, they are non-refundable except where required by law; unused, they are refundable on request.
No guarantee of outcomes
ScoutLane helps you produce honest, well-structured materials. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, that any resume will pass a given ATS, or any particular job-search result.
Availability
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RMMM Holdings, LLC d/b/a ScoutLane is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold RMMM Holdings, LLC d/b/a ScoutLane harmless from claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from content you provide, your reliance on Interview Kit or Debrief content in your dealings with a third party, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time, yourself, from Account settings: no need to contact us first. Deleting your account forfeits any unused credit balance unless you request a refund before you delete your account, or within the short post-deletion window described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the acceptable-use rules.
Arbitration agreement and class action waiver
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
Most disputes can be resolved informally. Contact us first at support@scoutlane.app, and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue.
If a dispute is not resolved informally, you and RMMM Holdings, LLC d/b/a ScoutLane each agree to resolve it through binding, individual arbitration rather than in court, except as set out below. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, if the claim qualifies for that court, on an individual basis. This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures then in effect, which already require us to pay the AAA filing, administrative, and arbitrator fees for your claim regardless of the amount in dispute, beyond a modest consumer filing fee, unless the arbitrator finds your claim frivolous. Arbitration will take place in Warren County, Ohio, or another location we agree to, or by video conference or written submissions where AAA's rules allow.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@scoutlane.app within 30 days after the later of the effective date of these Terms above or your first use of ScoutLane, stating that you wish to opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, or for any dispute not subject to arbitration, disputes will be resolved in the courts described in Governing Law below, and the class-action waiver in this section still applies to the fullest extent enforceable.
If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim or request for relief, that claim or request must be brought in the courts described below rather than in arbitration, and the rest of this arbitration agreement still applies.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration agreement above, any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Warren County, Ohio, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
